On September 29, 2025, at approximately 4:55 a.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department’s C-Squad were dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Washington Avenue in reference to a report of a male subject pulling on a vehicle’s door handle.
On September 27, 2025, at approximately 8:59 a.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department’s A-Squad responded to a report of a larceny.
The Lenoir County SCARR (Street Crime and Rapid Response) Unit has made two arrests following an investigation that originated from a citizen complaint regarding suspected illegal drug activity in the county.
On September 24, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department’s B-Squad were traveling on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when they observed two male subjects run across the highway in front of oncoming traffic. Officers attempted to check on the individuals, but both continued running and appeared to be avoiding law enforcement.

On the evening of September 22, 2025, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 3100 block of Hugh E. Hardy Road in LaGrange to assist the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) with a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

On September 6, 2025, officers patrolling the 1600 block of Old Snow Hill Road encountered two men arguing in the street. One of the men, identified as 36-year-old Domekio Blackwell, alleged that his bicycle had been stolen.
Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Cynthia Carol Ingram after a traffic stop on Vernon Avenue revealed signs of impairment. Ingram faces charges including DWI and Level 3 Trafficking in Opium following her arrest this morning.
