Washington, D.C. — Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., applauds the historic wins and policy priorities highlighted by President Trump in his State of the Union address to Congress.
Today Governor Stein signed an executive order to improve behavioral health care and public safety in North Carolina. Executive Order 33 directs several cabinet agencies to take action strengthening how the state’s behavioral health and criminal justice systems coordinate and serve the public.
Raleigh, N.C. -— The state’s seasonally adjusted December 2025 unemployment rate was 3.9 percent, unchanged from November’s revised rate. The national rate decreased 0.1 of a percentage point to 4.4 percent.
Raleigh, N.C. - Today, along with the Internal Revenue Service, the N.C. Department of Revenue officially opens the 2026 individual income tax filing season and begins accepting 2025 returns. Taxpayers who file state returns electronically will receive acknowledgements.
