On Sunday, May 13, 2001, the La Grange Police Department was contacted by Cosandra Best concerning her missing 16-year-old daughter, Timeka Pridgen. Pridgen was last seen at her home — 201 South Street in La Grange — on Saturday, May 12, 2001 at around 10:40 p.m.

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office has obtained warrants for the arrest of Kegan Van Damke of Lewisville in regards to the break-in reported at Woodington Middle School. Damke has not yet been taken into custody. Upon checking the driver, 41 year old Lacey Howard of Goldsboro, Deputies learned that he had an outstanding order for arrest for Disorderly Conduct out of Wayne County.
