Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Stolen Motorcycle

On August 22, 2026, at approximately 11:20 p.m., deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office C-Shift responded to the area of Woodington Middle School in reference to a reported stolen motorcycle.

During the investigation, LCSO deputies utilized Flock Safety cameras and determined the suspect vehicle was from the Onslow County area. With assistance from the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, deputies identified the driver as Dejuan Smith of Jacksonville, North Carolina.

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office assisted in confirming Smith as the suspect in the incident.

Felony warrants have been issued for Dejuan Smith for Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.
