Born on January 30, 1936, in Greene County, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by her devotion to family, her strong work ethic, and her involvement in her church community.
Stewart Perry, a gifted athlete, devoted coach, woman of deep faith, and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died on October 12, 2026 from complications with Parkinson’s Disease. She was 73.

Kenneth Franklin Tyndall of Kinston, NC, died peacefully in his sleep Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 90. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 2 pm, at Edwards Funeral Home in Kinston, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private graveside was held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Ann Stroud Sutton of Greensboro, N.C., formerly of Kinston, N.C., passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Bright and May Stroud of Kinston and sister of the late Ivey Stroud.
William “Bill” Francis Russell died on Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Kinston, NC. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Bill was a native of Greenville, TN, and attended East Tennessee State University and served in the National Guard.

Margaret Lucile Davis, age 90, of Kinston, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. Visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Brian Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.

A graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville City Cemetery, 1000 Hargett Street, Jacksonville, N.C on Monday, June 30, at 11 A.M. Annie will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Tyson.
