Obituary: Annie Petteway Taylor
Annie Petteway Taylor of Kinston, N.C, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 95.
A graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville City Cemetery, 1000 Hargett Street, Jacksonville, N.C on Monday, June 30, at 11 A.M. Annie will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Tyson.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Tyson Taylor, in 2002, their son, John Alfred “Johnny” Taylor in 2012, and her siblings, Sammie Petteway, Stella Mae Petteway Justice, Velma Petteway Hamilton, Carroll Petteway and Doris Petteway Johnson.
She is survived by nieces and nephews – Thomas Justice, Carolyn Justice Elliott, William Justice, David Hamilton, Patsy Hamilton Kennedy, Peggy Hamilton Black, Samuel Petteway, Donald Petteway, Douglas Petteway, Timothy Johnson, Perry Johnson, Shelley Johnson Gualtieri, Carroll Ray Petteway and their families.
