Mrs. Eva Faye Duke Elmore, age 79, passed away Monday afternoon, August 18th, 2025, at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehab Center following a brief period of declining health. Funeral Services will be held graveside 11 AM Friday, August 22nd, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Keith Phillips officiating.
Annie Petteway Taylor of Kinston, N.C, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 95.
A graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville City Cemetery, 1000 Hargett Street, Jacksonville, N.C on Monday, June 30, at 11 A.M. Annie will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Tyson.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebratory service on Wednesday, May 10 at 7:00 pm with family visitation at 6:00 pm at Kinston First PH Church, 711 Phillips Road, Kinston. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11am in the mausoleum at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Joyce Ellen Gaylor Frederick, loving mother, beloved sister and aunt, dedicated nurse and loyal friend died Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Spring Arbor of Kinston. A memorial service will held on Saturday, March 5 at 11 AM, at Gordon Street Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Doug Stokes. The family will receive friends following the service at a reception in the church fellowship hall.
