The Skilled Maintenance Technician – HVAC is responsible for general maintenance of facilities to avoid possible failure and malfunctions. This individual will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on the servicing, repairing, and basic day-to-day needs of the Facilities Maintenance Department. HVAC systems and controls are a critical focus of this role.

Linda Dail Herring, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 while being cared for at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. A service of love and remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Broadwell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Committal will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Isabelle Wiggins Eubank, 98, of Kinston and formerly of Trenton, NC, went to her heavenly home on Monday morning, May 18, 2026. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, 1-2 PM, at Edwards Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow immediately after. Interment will follow at Trenton Municipal Cemetery.
