Seven Springs-JoAnn Grady Price, 88, of Atlas Price Road, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at her home. A graveside service to celebrate JoAnn’s life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Seven Springs. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. On July 30, 2025, Kinston Police officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1300 block of McAdoo Street. Upon arrival, officers located Jamell Howard, 37, of Kinston, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
