Burial will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at East Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with military rites.
Anna Ruth Johnson, 91, passed away on Monday, February 19, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 23, at 1:00 PM at Westview Cemetery, with Rev. David Kent officiating.
Patsy “Pat” Burns Cozart Patrick, 98, died February 18, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was born September 21, 1925, the daughter of Dr. Wiley Simeon Cozart and Pauline Holt Cozart of Fuquay Springs, NC. A Celebration in Thanksgiving for the life of Patsy Cozart Patrick will be held Wednesday, February 21st at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Pat’s ashes will be borne to St. Francis Gardens for the Committal. Immediately following the Committal, the family will greet friends at the Kinston Country Club.
Warren M. Tyndall, Jr. residing at Lenoir Assisted Living in Pink Hill, NC made his transition into the Presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at UNC Lenoir Hospital on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 after a very brief illness.
James “Dexter” Barnett, 73, of Jackson Heights, peacefully passed away early Sunday morning, February 11th at his home. The services to remember, honor, and celebrate his life will be held at Jackson Heights OFWB Church on Friday, February 16th. Visitation will be from 5:00pm – 6:00pm, and the funeral service will follow. Dexter’s good friend, the Rev. Terry Dennis will be officiating the service.

Margaret was born on January 31, 1937, to Frederick M. Taylor and Margaret Marston Taylor in Kinston, NC. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 1, 2024.
