Contentnea-Savannah K-8 School is one of 15 middle schools in the state chosen to participate in a comprehensive five-year, $25 million statewide project to boost math instruction and career development. The Golden LEAF Schools Initiative, announced Thursday by the Golden Leaf Foundation and the N.C. Nearly 600 seniors will reach the milestone that is high school graduation next week at commencement exercises scheduled at four LCPS schools. Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025 at the county’s three traditional high schools will be held in succession on Saturday, June 7. Students at Lenoir County Learning Academy will graduate a day earlier. Here are details about the four graduations:
Lenoir Community College Culinary Arts students took their skills beyond the classroom this week by volunteering at Mary’s Kitchen in Kinston, helping to serve hot meals to community members in need.
