KPD assists in arrest of wanted fugitive from Washington County
On July 28, 2025, officers with the Kinston Police Department’s C-Squad responded to a residence in the 900 block of Cameron Drive to assist in locating 23-year-old William Alphin.
Alphin was wanted by the Washington County NC Sheriffs Office on the following charges:
-Second Degree Kidnapping
-Misdemeanor Child Abuse
-Violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order
Kinston officers located Alphin at the residence and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
