NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL

OF THE TOWN OF LA GRANGE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of La Grange will hold a public hearing at the regular Board meeting of the Town of La Grange on August 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Town of La Grange Town Hall located at 203 South Center Street, La Grange, North Carolina, on two proposed Official Zoning Map Amendments (Rezonings).

1. The petition to amend the Official Zoning Map for the Town of La Grange specific to the Zoning District for Tax Parcel # 17238 located on E Washington St. from HC (Highway Commercial District) to R-10 (Medium- Density Residential District).

2. The petition to amend the Official Zoning Map for the Town of La Grange specific to the Zoning District for a portion of the approximately 47.58 acres of land, N. Charles Street; Tract 1; Recombination Survey; MB 18 Pg 136; Lenoir County Register, be rezoned from LI (Light Industrial District) to R-10 (Medium- Density Residential District)
