NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LA GRANGE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of La Grange will hold two (2) public hearings at the regular La Grange Town Council meeting on June 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the La Grange Town Hall located at 203 South Center Street, La Grange, North Carolina.

The first public hearing will be to review and consider a proposed amendments to the Official Zoning Map for the Town of La Grange, changing approximately 11.1 acres of Lenoir County Tax Parcel #15826 from R-18 Single-Family Residential to R-12 Single-Family Residential.

The second public hearing will be to review and consider a text change application for Section 13-1 of the La Grange Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 38 of the Town Code of Ordinances). The text change request would permit accessory structures/buildings on an Agriculture Residential (AR) Zoned parcel without the presence of a principal structure.

All interested citizens are invited to appear and be heard.
