Officers on A-Squad conducted a traffic stop with Aaliah Anderson (27, Kinston). During the traffic stop officers suspected Anderson was impaired. After an investigation was complete, Anderson was arrested for Driving While Impaired.

Ms. Carolyn Rouse Newcomb, age 76, passed away Tuesday evening, February 27th, 2024, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville. Baseball Hall of Famer George Whitfield created an annual scholarship through the Lenoir Community College Foundation honoring the memory of Gilmer Minor, III who played college football and baseball and who continued to support athletics throughout his life.
