Double Trouble: Repeat DWI arrest for Kinston woman

12:33 am - Officers on A-Squad conducted a traffic stop with Aaliah Anderson (27, Kinston). During the traffic stop officers suspected Anderson was impaired. After an investigation was complete, Anderson was arrested for Driving While Impaired.

03:48 am - Officers were completing a service call when the Aaliah Anderson passed the same arresting officer speeding 72 MPH in a 55 MPH Zone. The Officer conducted a second traffic stop with Anderson and again determined she was impaired. Anderson was arrested for Driving While Impaired for the second time and her vehicle was seized under the State of North Carolina's DWI seizure requirements. Anderson was placed in the LC Jail without bond.
