On Friday, March 3, I returned to my post at the Kinston-Lenoir County Information and Visitor Center after being out for two months following my surgery on January 5. Beginning March 13 and continuing until April 17, the City of Kinston, Deep Run Water Corporation, North Lenoir Water Corporation Town of Grifton and Town of Pink Hill will temporarily change the disinfectant used in the water treatment process. Harriet Rouse, 78, went home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 on Sunday, March 12, at Tanglewood Church with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
