Down East Wood Ducks to host beer and BP events
The Down East Wood Ducks announced Thursday, they will host the second annual Beer and Batting Practice events presented by Down East Homes. Beer and Batting Practice will take place at Grainger Stadium on Thursday, October 28th and Thursday, November 11th.

Rocky Mount resident Lea Henry, President of Two Rivers Development Partners, has purchased vacant buildings on North Queen Street, adjacent to Kinston Enterprise Center. The buildings formerly housed the old Johnson Music Building, and Greene's TV building.

Hugo Fire Department shared photos of the newly poured concrete at the location of their new Station 4. In July, the Hugo Fire Department announced on Facebook that they obtained the permits to begin construction of Station 4.
