Help wanted: Lenoir Community College - Passport Acceptance Agent (Part-time)

$13.00 Hourly

 The Passport Acceptance Agent will handle processing passport applications, taking photos, and preparing routine correspondence and reports.

The duties of the Passport Acceptance Agent include, but are not limited to:

  • Interact with students, staff, and the public in a cordial, responsive, and professional manner

  • Perform all duties in a manner that maintains a positive effect on the internal and external perception of the LCC Foundation and the College

  • Applicant must maintain a high level of confidentiality and be able to work independently but also be a team player

  • Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Institutional Advancement

Qualifications

  • Associate degree is required from a regionally accredited institution

  • Must be able to pass the Passport Acceptance Agent Exam

  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are imperative

  • Applicant must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment

  • Frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a telephone, computer, keyboard, and mouse; some standing and walking

  • Must be able to lift and move 35 pounds or more
