A La Grange man attempting to flee a Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office checkpoint on Sunday was arrested not once, but twice on several drug and firearm charges.

KPD's Violent Crime Action Team conducted a vehicle stop with Jahova Conner for speeding. During the traffic stop, Conner sped off before crashing the vehicle into a curb rendering the vehicle immobile.
