KPD: Traffic stop leads to drugs, firearms arrests

KPD's Violent Crime Action Team conducted a vehicle stop with Jahova Conner for speeding. During the traffic stop, Conner sped off before crashing the vehicle into a curb rendering the vehicle immobile. Conner and two passengers fled the scene on foot. One passenger remained with the vehicle. Officers were able to apprehend Jahova Conner and Qy'Mir Worthen after a foot pursuit. The 3rd offender was able to avoid capture.

During this incident detectives located two concealed firearms and narcotics. One of the firearms had been previously been reported stolen.

Jahova Conner (19) was charged with the following:

- Felony Flee to Elude

- Possession of a stolen firearm

- Carry concealed gun (2 counts)

- Resist, Obstruct, Delay

- Possession of Schedule VI

- Several Motor Vehicle Violations

Qy'Mir Worthen (23) was charged with the following:

- Possession of stolen firearm

- Carry concealed gun (2 counts)

- Resist, Obstruct, Delay

- Possession of Schedule VI

Donielle Roberson (19) was cited and released for the following:

- Possession of Schedule VI
