NC Symphony trombonist comes to Kinston library
Matt Neff, a bass trombonist with the North Carolina Symphony, performed at the Neuse Regional Library today for Kinston’s youth. Along with the live performance, the audience also learned what goes into making sounds on the bass instruments.
Neff played a variety of brass instruments, including trumpets, tubas, and bass trombone. String instruments were also on display, with violins and cellos being demonstrated.
After the performance, Neff read the children a music-themed story. He talked about how to preserve and create friends through music.
