The Lenoir County Public Schools Class of 2025 was celebrated in five graduation ceremonies over the past month, culminating Saturday with nearly 600 students receiving diplomas from South Lenoir High School, Kinston High and North Lenoir High.

Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025 at the county’s three traditional high schools will be held in succession on Saturday, June 7. In his eight years as a social studies teacher at EB Frink Middle School – his entire career in education – Chadwick Stokes has won five statewide awards for excellence in teaching. With the most recent, the North Carolina Council for the Social Studies honored Stokes as the state’s Middle School Social Studies Teacher of the Year for 2025.
