Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Kinston with Pastor Vito Bisogon and Pastor John Robert Harris officiating.
Elwood Eugene Tyndall, 80, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025. Graveside Services will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC at 2:00 p.m.
After a brief, and courageous, battle with cancer, Sadie “Lib” Mitchell, passed away peacefully and entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church, 3297 Falling Creek Road, Kinston, NC, with Pastor Terry Coates officiating. Visitation with reception will follow service. Burial will follow immediately after reception at Rainbow United Methodist Church Cemetery in Snow Hill.
Robert Lonn Hood, Jr. died on Nov. 20, 2024, at McGregor Down Health Center in Greenville, N.C., after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60. No service is planned at this time.
Douglas Gray Hill, 85, of Morehead City, peacefully returned home in the early hours of November 14, 2024. Doug will be laid to rest with his parents and siblings at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston on Sunday, November 17 [Howard Carter], after which the family will receive visitors at a Celebration of Life reception from 2-4pm at the Kinston Country Club.

Interment to follow the funeral service at Oakridge Cemetery in Pink Hill, NC.
