Deep Run Woman Arrested for DWI After Falling Asleep in McDonald’s Drive-Thru

On June 13, 2026, at approximately 2:22 a.m., officers with KPD’s D-Squad responded to McDonald’s, located at 4194 W. Vernon Avenue, after receiving a report of a person asleep in the drive-thru.

Upon arrival, officers located 37-year-old Kristen Styron of Deep Run slumped over in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. During their investigation, officers observed signs of impairment and conducted a driving while impaired (DWI) investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Styron was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
