Jones County commissioners to hold public hearing on CDBG matters
The Jones County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing Monday related to Community Development Block Grant funding during its regular meeting.
The hearing is scheduled as part of the board’s consideration of amendments to an existing 2022 CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization project. County officials have not detailed proposed changes in the published agenda, but the item is expected to address adjustments to project scope, funding, or timelines.
Following the public hearing, commissioners will consider formal approval of the amendment later in the meeting.
The Jones County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at the Jones County Agricultural Building, located at 110 Market St. in Trenton. The meeting is open to the public.
