Jones County to review Trenton EMS contract agreement

Jones County to review Trenton EMS contract agreement

The Jones County Board of Commissioners will consider approval of a contract agreement involving Trenton Emergency Medical Services.

Emergency Services Director Ryan Mills is scheduled to present the item during the Jan. 5 meeting. The agenda does not specify whether the agreement represents a renewal, amendment, or new contract.

EMS contracts typically govern service coverage, funding arrangements, and operational responsibilities between local governments and emergency service providers.

Commissioners will discuss the agreement before taking action. The Jones County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at the Jones County Agricultural Building, located at 110 Market St. in Trenton. The meeting is open to the public.
