Obituary: Robert J. Pittman Sr.

Kinston-Robert J. Pittman Sr., 87, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in La Grange, NC on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Pittman; two sons, Bobby Pittman (Valerie Hackett) and Brandon Pittman (Leighann Morgan); brothers-in-law, Fred Wilson (Iko) and Berry Wilson (Kay); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was a kind and gentle man who worked for over sixty-eight years to make sure his family was well taken care of. He loved fishing and gardening until he had to give them up in his last few years. Though he will truly be missed, it is now time for him to rest.
