Obituary: Nina Christine Hart

Nina Christine Hart August 17, 1935 – August 3, 2022

Kinston-Nina Christine Aycock Hart. 86, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Christine was born in Lenoir County to the late Turner and Eula Faulkner Aycock on August 17, 1935.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenan Hart and Robert Noble; siblings, Milford Aycock, Thelma Dawson, and Jean Avery; and special friend, Harvey Alphin. Christine worked as a teacher’s assistant and bus driver for many years. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.

A service of love and remembrance will be held at Rouse Funeral Home at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service. A private committal will be held at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Dawson (Ronny); grandchildren, Charlie Dawson (Melissa Seamans) and Kelly Dawson-Stainback (Jason); sisters, Carolyn Sullivan and Ellie Ives; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Harrison and Betty McDevett.
