Obituary: Linda Marie Jarrell

Obituary: Linda Marie Jarrell

Our precious MawMaw was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Linda was an angel on earth. She loved her people unconditionally, and her greatest joy in life was the family she and John built together. She was a wife, mother, sister, and daughter, but her absolute greatest joy was her grandbabies.

She cherished every minute of being their MawMaw. As a wife, she was patient, loving, and generous. John was the love of her life and throughout their 34 years of marriage they shared adventure, laughter, and an immense love for their family, above all else. As a mom, she was the unwavering picture of love, strength, selflessness, faith, and perseverance. Mom never gave up on us, even when we gave her every reason in the world to. She prayed us through life’s storms. She was our rock.

As a MawMaw, she was compassionate, nurturing, and thoughtful. She was present for all the important moments in life. She showed up for every event, game, graduation, award ceremony, and birthday. She knew exactly what to say and do and her grandbabies loved her for that. Linda was also a friend, mentor, and counselor to many.

She loved everyone she met and had the ability to see the good in people, even when they couldn’t see it themselves. As the Connections Pastor for Tanglewood Church, Linda loved sharing the love of Jesus with others and changing lives; it was her passion in life and man, was she good at it! Serving others was in her blood. We often say that Linda loved her people like Jesus. It was an unconditional kind of love. A great big love bigger than this world could hold. She was a relentless optimist with an infectious smile. You couldn’t be near her without feeling joy and love. The void she leaves behind is immense, but this much we know. Mom would want her legacy to simply be this. Make the memories, take the pictures, and be there for your people. Love each other like Jesus.

At the request of the family, the service will be casual and colorful. Her favorite color was orange. The Funeral Services for Linda Jarrell in Kernersville are as follows:
