The Biology Instructor is responsible for providing quality and engaging instruction to LCC students through the use of seated and online courses, and through creative biology labs as needed to promote successful completion of degree requirements.

Help Wanted: Civil Engineer

Performs professional work involved in the design, construction, inspection and maintenance of a variety of public works and utility facilities, and related work as required. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Engineering Project Manager. Limited supervision may be exercised over temporary employees.

Ironclads and Innovation: CSS Neuse Museum Brings Civil War Naval History to Life July 11

While most people think of dusty battlefields when they picture the Civil War, the real game-changing technology was happening on the water. On Saturday, July 11, the CSS Neuse Museum will pull back the curtain on this high-seas drama with its immersive summer program, โ€œSailors in the Summer: Ironclads and Naval Living History.โ€ From 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., regional history will come alive through interactive exhibits, expert-led demonstrations, and hands-on family activities designed to show exactly what it took to survive as a sailor in the 1860s.

Governor Richard Caswell to 'Return' to Kinston for Historic Declaration Reading and Monument Rededication July 11

In a stirring tribute to the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Kinston-Lenoir County Tourism and Development Authority, in coordination with the CSS Neuse Civil War Museum and the Governor Richard Caswell Memorial, will hold a public event on the steps of the Lenoir County Courthouse. On Saturday, July 11, at 9 a.m., the spirit of North Carolinaโ€™s first governor will visit the courthouse, located at 130 S. Queen St., to mark the birth of the nation he helped build.
