Fire department training planned Saturday near John Mewborne Road
Lenoir County Emergency Services will conduct a fire department training exercise Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to noon near John Mewborne Road and Spirit Way.
A large number of fire trucks and emergency personnel from Lenoir County and neighboring counties are expected in the area during the training.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area when possible. Those traveling nearby should use caution and watch for emergency vehicles and personnel.
