Trillium receives two Innovations Award from I2I

Trillium Health Resources and our partners accepted two Innovations Awards at the Center for Integrative Health (also known as I2I) winter conference. Trillium and Victory Junction received the “Individual and Family Initiatives” Award and we joined Monarch, The Autism Society of North Carolina, and Physicians Alliance for Mental Health in accepting the “ Technology” Award. The Innovation Awards honor innovative services and programs that aim to enhance comprehensive approaches to care by employing cutting-edge methods, tools, and partnerships. 

Jackson Heights Church hosts annual Christmas gift giveaway

The Christmas season is a special time of year where many celebrate with friends and family, but it can also be a difficult time of year for many. Therefore, each year our church family at Jackson Heights OFWB Church comes together for our annual Christmas gift giveaway to try to help make the Christmas season a little merrier for those in our community.

Going the distance: LCC’s Greene County Welding Program attracts students near and far

When Taylor Lowry, an 18-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, leaves her home twice a week to make the two-hour-and-forty-five-minute drive to Lenoir Community College’s Greene County Center, it’s not just for any welding course. Lowry is pursuing her goal of one day becoming a welding inspector, and the self-paced Mixed Welding course taught by Justin Harvell is her first step on that journey.

Lenoir Community College is a comprehensive institution that places primary emphasis on excellence in classroom instruction. The Adjunct English Instructor is responsible for providing quality and engaging instruction to LCC students through the use of seated and/or online courses, and through other creative modalities as needed to promote successful completion of degree requirements.

Snow Hill Primary "Terrific Kid" awards

Snow Hill Primary gives out a weekly award called "Terrific Kid" awards.  Each teacher at SHP chooses a student who has been responsible, shows great character, or has reached a personal goal.  On Fridays, these students are presented with an award and are congratulated for their hard work.  Below are Snow Hill Primary's last Terrific Kid Awards!
