A service of love and remembrance will be held at Hickory Grove Church of Bucklesberry at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024 with Rev. Robert Flynn and Rev. Norma Walters officiating. Hugo woman apprehended after attempted fleeing from traffic stop
KPD's A-Squad conducted a traffic stop on Hines Avenue & Vernon Avenue with Brittany Futrell (34 of Hugo NC) after she called 911. During the traffic stop officers placed a tire deflating device under the tires due to Futrell's actions that led officers to believe she was going to flee.
