Obituary: Walenah Macon "Quin" Quinerly Outlaw
Walenah Macon Quinerly Outlaw, 95, passed away Sunday at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A service of love and remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 16, in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with Chaplain Seth Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

GEC celebrated its first Student Appreciation Day on Friday November 17. In today’s society special observance days are acknowledged throughout the year for special occupations such as Boss’ Day, Teacher and Nurse Day and so many adult occupations.
