Each Thanksgiving, the Kinston Chapter of Carolina Junior Cotillions donates pet food to the Lenoir County SPCA. This year our students are donating dog food to the SPCA and cat food to the Kinston Chapter of Lucky Cats.

The Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene County is holding their first annual “Touch a Truck For Treats” at Grainger Stadium on October 26th from 10am to 1pm.
"We'll not only be playing classic songs but also tracing their history and influence," Thompson said. "Many of the songs in our set are listed in Rolling Stone magazine’s 500 Songs That Made Rock and Roll," Thompson said. "We'll talk about the writers, performers and geographical associations of the songs."
