Jesse Raymond Shackelford lll, 55, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at ECU Medical Center. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 5 – 7pm at Edwards Funeral Home.
Georgia Allen Lewis Ormond, 84, of Kinston, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Magnolia Cottage after a long battle with dementia. Services for Georgia will be held at Queen Street United Methodist Church in Kinston, NC on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:30am followed by a memorial service beginning at 11:30am.

Ronald (Ron) Charles Anderson, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends at Teahan Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28th at 10 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. A private burial will take place at Hala Cemetery in Amana, Iowa at a later time.
