Obituary - Gloria “Denelle” Lane Roberson

Ayden - Gloria “Denelle” Lane Roberson, 73, passed away at her home on Friday, June 9, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Monday, June 12, at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Denelle was born June 18, 1949, in Lenoir County to Willie Ray and Sallie Lane. She worked at Perry Law firm as a paralegal for 33 years. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to all that knew her and always willing to help a stranger in need. Denelle was a very loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, K.R. Roberson; sons, Dan Heath and wife Julie, Trey Horton and wife Carol, David Roberson and wife Wendy; daughter, Cindy Turnage and husband Mark; mother, Sallie Lane Mewborn; sisters, Donna Lane, Diane Davis and husband Gary; brother, Larry Lane and wife Angie; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special niece and loving caregiver, Katie Walston.

Denelle is preceded in death by her father, Willie Ray Lane and her brother, Willie Ray Lane, Jr.
