Snow Hill - During their meeting on June 19, the Greene County Board of Commissioners voted 4-1 to censure Commissioner Burress. Commissioner Jones made the motion to add the censure resolution, which was seconded by Commissioner Shackelford. The motion passed with a 4-1 vote, with Burress being the sole dissenting vote.

Snow Hill - Greene Central High School’s Marching Rams have kicked off their 2023-24 season. Since July 24th the members of the band have been meeting at Greene Central for Band Camp from 9-5. They have been working hard on their halftime show, marching basics, and new music.

UNC Health Lenoir is proud to announce the opening of the new state of the art UNC Health Lenoir Wound and Infusion Center. This unit specializes in advanced wound care and infusion services. Wound therapy has been available in the hospital since 2016 but the hospital has recently expanded to include hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
