U.S. Senator Ted Budd visits the NC Global TransPark

U.S. Senator Ted Budd and U.S. Congressman Gregory Murphy visited the North Carolina Global TransPark (NCGTP). Both guests were briefed on the recent aerospace and defense industry expansions at the NCGTP by Preston Hunter, Executive Director of the NCGTP.

Then, EDR President Mark Pope, along with EDR’s Craig Foucht and Trey Cash shared the latest on the region’s economic development growth and how the NCGTP is a key resource for all of eastern N.C.

Next, Senator Budd and Congressman Murphy toured some NCGTP tenants, Draken International, FlyExclusive, and FRC East.

It was an action-packed afternoon, but it allowed U.S. Senator Ted Budd and U.S. Congressman Gregory Murphy to get a glimpse of the great aerospace and defense industries that call the NCGTP home!
