Snow Hill Primary Terrific Kid Awards

Snow Hill Primary gives out a weekly award called "Terrific Kid" awards. Each teacher at SHP chooses a student who has been responsible, shows great character, or has reached a personal goal. On Fridays, these students are presented with an award from the counselor, Mrs. McLawhorn, or an administrator and are congratulated for their hard work. Holly Jolly Time at the Kinston Community Center

Have a Holly Jolly time shopping at the Kinston Community Center. The Community Council for the Arts and the Kinston Community Center have teamed up for the annual Holly Jolly Holiday show featuring local vendors. The event will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10:00 am through 6:00 pm and Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10:00 am through 4:00 pm at the Kinston Community Center.

Governor Cooper announces intent to sign Legislative budget

Governor Roy Cooper announced his intent to sign the legislative budget, citing necessary investments in teacher and state employee pay, critical infrastructure and aid to help families and businesses emerge from the pandemic stronger than ever. While not a perfect budget, the bill makes necessary progress that will support public schools, the economy and the lives of North Carolinians.

Precision Graphics to open new facility in Snow Hill

The North Carolina Global Transpark Economic Development Region (NCGTPEDR) announced a partnership with Precision Graphic, Inc, to open a new production facility in Greene County that would create 70 new jobs. Precision Graphic will invest $5.1 million in Snow Hill to open a new electronics manufacturing and fulfillment facility.
