Letter of Intent Now Open for Lenoir/Greene United Way

Lenoir/Greene United Way invites interested nonprofit organizations to submit a letter of intent to request funding for the 2024 application cycle.  Applicants must meet the following guidelines to pursue funding: 501c3 nonprofit organization, Agency in good standing, Meets at least (1) community impact area of Education, Health or Financial Sustainability, Fully complies with required documentation and grant reporting from Lenoir/Greene United Way, Ability to provide measurable goals and outcomes on service population.

Kay Harrell Wins 2023 Lighthouse Award

Kay Harrell was honored with the 2023 Lighthouse Award by Lenoir/Greene United Way on Wednesday, July 19 at the nonprofit organizationโ€™s nautical-themed gala, โ€œSet Sail With Us.โ€  Presenting sponsor, Dr. Rusty Hunt representing Lenoir Community College shared Harrellโ€™s impressive bio with a full house of attendees.

Amazon, United Way Donate to Local Shelters

Amazonโ€™s local Kinston plant and Lenoir/Greene United Way teamed up to donate personal care products to three local shelters.  Donations of menโ€™s and womenโ€™s undergarments, toiletries, socks and cleansing wipes were given to Greene County Interfaith in Snow Hill, SAFE and the Friends of the Homeless shelterโ€ฆa donation valued at over $1,000.
