The Pirate Pulse Launches as ECU's Newest Independent Sports Media Platform

GREENVILLE – East Carolina University sports fans now have a new home for dynamic, in-depth coverage with the launch of The Pirate Pulse, an independent digital sports media platform dedicated exclusively to ECU athletics. "There's no shortage of ECU sports coverage, but what's missing is a platform built specifically for the modern fan—one that delivers instant updates, in-depth analysis, and behind-the-scenes access in a way that's fast, engaging, and interactive," said BJ Murphy, a 2002 Business Administration graduate from ECU and CEO of Magic Mile Media.

Three LCC students selected for ECU Engineering Scholarship

LCC is proud of each of these students for their accomplishments and their decision to attend LCC for Engineering. The National Science Foundation and ECU’s Department of Engineering are helping to provide Lenoir, Jones, and Greene County students with the opportunity to further their education in Engineering through these funds, which will ultimately benefit our community through developing a skilled workforce.

Former Miss Kinston-Lenoir County joins ECU Alumni Association Board

2016 Miss Kinston-Lenoir County and former Down East Wood Ducks intern Lily Faulconer is now a member of the East Carolina University Alumni Association board of directors. The ECU Alumni Association approved six new members to join its board of directors recently. The board operates to provide strategic direction, resources and professional expertise to carry out the university’s alumni engagement objectives. The elected members joined the board in July and will serve three-year terms that end in 2024.
