Obituary: Linda Jo Reason Riggs
Linda Jo Reason Riggs, 74, entered through the heavenly gates to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born in Richmond, Virginia, to the late James and Virginia Reason on November 5, 1951.
Talented with arts and crafts, Linda worked for many years as a seamstress, owning and operating the Alteration and Bridal Shop in downtown La Grange. A devoted wife to her husband, Charles Allan, she was a loving and unique lady.
A service of love and remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Rouse Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Garner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Committal will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles Allan Riggs; sister, Emma Reason Moore and husband Billy; brother Jimmy Reason and wife Karen; son Ray Cullipher and wife Tammy; daughter Angela Hill and husband Will; grandsons Emerson and Blake; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Linda’s caregivers and the staff of 3HC Hospice for their loving care for Linda and the family.
