Duplin County Man arrested in Pink Hill on Narcotics Charges
On August 15, 2026, Lenoir County Narcotic Detectives along with S.C.A.R.R (Street Crimes and Rapid Response) and D-shift deputies initiated a traffic stop on Jasent Jurgensen, 48, of Beulaville, North Carolina.
During the stop, K9 Fuse was deployed on the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics. Detectives then conducted a search of Jurgensen and his vehicle. Detectives located approximately 17.5 grams of methamphetamine and a concealed handgun in Jurgensen’s possession.
Upon further investigation Jurgensen also had an active warrant out of Brunswick County for Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
Jurgensen was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
PWIMSD SCH II CS
CARRYING CONCEALED GUN
Jurgensen was transported to the Lenoir County Jail where he was not issued a bond.
