Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Seeking Public's Assistance in Church Vandalism Investigation

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying individuals involved in the unlawful entry and vandalism of a local church.

On July 25, 2026, at approximately 12:26 a.m., two individuals unlawfully entered a church located at 1003 W. New Bern Road, Kinston, causing damage to the property. The incident is currently under investigation by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators are seeking the community's help in identifying the individuals responsible. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identities of those involved is encouraged to contact the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office at 252-559-6118.
