Lenoir County Sheriff investigating vehicle crimes

The following was posted on the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

On the night of March 28 and morning of March 29, suspects attempted to break into some vehicles in areas including Falling Creek, North Lenoir, Castle Oaks, and Paul’s Path road of Lenoir County.

Sheriff Ronnie Ingram wants to remind all our residents to please keep your doors locked to your vehicles. Do not leave valuables and firearms in your vehicle. Please call 911 if you see any suspicious persons or hear someone outside your homes.

The attached video shows an attempt to get in some vehicles. If you have any information about the identify of these suspects, please call the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office at 252-559-6118 or Kinston Lenoir County Crime Stoppers at 252-523-4444.
