𝗞𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗪𝗜 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵

On May 9, 2026, at approximately 6:06 p.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department’s C-Squad responded to a three-vehicle motor vehicle crash in the 100 block of [Road Name].

Upon arrival, officers made contact with 27-year-old Jesus Sanchez of Dunn, North Carolina. The investigation revealed that Sanchez struck two parked vehicles. During the investigation, officers immediately suspected Sanchez was impaired and conducted a DWI investigation alongside the crash investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Sanchez was arrested and charged with the following:

Driving While Impaired

Failure to Maintain Lane Control

Failure to Reduce Speed

Sanchez was booked into the Lenoir County Jail and later released after posting bond.
