Drug Arrests Made During License Checkpoint Operation
On April 4, 2026, at approximately midnight, deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office C-Shift conducted a driver’s license checkpoint in the area of the 500 block of NC Highway 903 South.
During the operation, deputies made contact with Jordan Parks of Seven Springs and Daniel Deprospo of La Grange. Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies detected the odor of marijuana and conducted a probable cause search. The search resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
Jordan Parks was arrested and charged with the following:
Felony Possession of Cocaine
Simple Possession of Marijuana
Jordan Parks was transported to the Lenoir County Jail and received a $5,000 secured bond.
Daniel Deprospo was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Methamphetamine
Daniel Deprospo was transported to the Lenoir County Jail and received a $40,000 secured bond. Daniel Deprospo also had an outstanding Order for Arrest from Wayne County for Possession of Methamphetamine.
