Lenoir County Man Arrested on Narcotics Charges
On July 31, 2026, detectives with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on Kevin Potter Jr., 27, of Lenoir County for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, detectives developed probable cause to search Potter and his vehicle. As a result of the search, detectives located methamphetamine in Potter’s possession.
Potter was arrested and transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where he was charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Potter received a $2,500 secured bond.
